Yesterday to Today.

Its almost close to a year now
I feel more happier than ever
Not once have I felt I was away from home
I came to this country which now I have made my own.
Not by myself
There was always my other half who made me come through
There has not been a day that is gloomy
Ofcourse, there were a few before
But those were ages ago.
Everyday I spend
Never have I felt any hinder.
All the questions in my mind
Have been answered.
I feel stronger than ever.
For this love and joy
That is given to me
Makes me feel alive even more.
I owe so much to this man
For what he has made me today.
I feel so empowered.
For me, he is everything
I love him today
And will forever and ever
Just not because he is my better half
Cause he is my love, friend
And everything I ever wanted
And wished for.

Memories from the past

I have these flashbacks
From time that is now lost.
I keep hanging on
Too realise everytime
That its wrong.
I have to learn to let go
To see what I have now.
Too be happy and cheerful.
But everytime i get lost.
Times with friends and family
Is what I think makes me go on
But I have to put an end to this all
Cause I am here
And this is my time to be the best of all.
Thoughts from the past keep coming back to my mind
Just to upset me.
What all wrong I have done
But all thats gone.
I have to move on
Its up to me now
How to get this solved.
Memories last for ever
But I aint going to breakdown.
Positive is what I am goin to stay
And enjoy all my time with a smile.
Cause life is too short to waste
And I have a loving husband
Who makes my life more wonderful than ever
For whom I am willing to do what ever.

She cried, when i did
Laughed with me, together always
She held my hand all the time
And made me get through all this
Late night and parties
Covering up for each other
If we got naughty
Meeting up in those allys, after work
Bitching and crying
We held each other
And faced a new day to come
There is no definition to this
Cause i simply cant explain it
This girl is my dear friend
Who is far away
But close to my heart, always.

Burnt Bridges

City of utter confusion
Unchangingly, wild and colourful
skycrapers hit the sky
people battling each other all the time
Catch a break and settle down
Let the city exhale for once
Take a look back at everything done
Sit at the window pale, watch it burn
For now its the time
To build the bridges that have burnt

A World Apart

Take me far,

Take me some place id belong,
Joy and love all in one just lets open that window to a
World apart.

Lets have some memories at the end of it all.
Busy life and hectic days lets forget it all.
Today is the present tomorrow is yet to come so lets sprinkle some magic and Disappear in at all.

I grew up with varied
Was a task keeping up with plenty
Had my ups and down with many, but grew out of it quickly
I wish, I could go back and undo all that
Now it seems we are as joyous as we can
Going away made me realise a lot
Things that were done wrong
This I write tell, that I wish I was fair to them all
Miss them dearly
Recollections of memories defines it all
Talks and connections have enhanced ever more
Alone here, but seems like i am not
Cause every morning, i have someone to talk
Back in those days we were raw
I am glad we outdid all
Cause I feel the closeness grow even more
